All posts to a Private Forum are considered In Game. The Read/Write skill is NOT required. All messages are considered In Game announcements and any appropriate In Game consequences will occur. Please specify a character for each message in the subject line.
When a person becomes a Member of a Private Forum they are not considered to be an In Game Member till the Owner makes an Entry Post to the Forum announcing their Character's Entry into the Group or until the new Member makes any post to the forum.
The Entry Post should have the following Subject Line:
Entry Post: [Character's Name]
Where [Character's Name] should be replaced by the character that is joining the private group.
The new member's character will only be aware of Posts AFTER the Entry or First Post.
Read the above statement again. It is that important.
If a person is made a member of the Forum, even though they can read the older messages Out of Game, they can take nothing In Game from any posts which time is before that Characters Entry Post.
An older member of the private group can make an Information Post specifying that they are filling a new character in on older details, but that only gives the new character In Game access to the information that the posting older member has access to. |
